Low-Profile Design

At Helo Solar, we use only Tier 1 panels offering an attractive low-profile design. All panels come with a manufacture warranty which covers the electrical components as well as their performance over a set number of years. We ensure all systems are designed to code by professional engineers and are installed by in-house certified electricians.

Our Solar Process

1. Free Energy Report

A Helo Solar technician will visit your home or business, inspect all areas, and send off the required information to an engineer for approval.

2. Approval

After we provide a free quote, an engineer will review the plans and create a custom system for each of our valued customers.

3. Review

Once the engineer signs off, the plans are then reviewed by the City electricity provider. This is to ensure an optimal grid.

4. Installation

After the city and power company have given approval, the installation can begin. Typical install jobs last between 1 to 3 days.

5. Inspection

When the install is completed, one of our project mangers will inspect the entire system ensuring it is up to our high quality standards.

6. Enjoy The Savings!

Solar panels are built with durable tempered glass and require little to no maintenance for 25 to 35 years. In most cases, you do not even need to clean your solar panels regularly. If the unforseen does happen, our products include a manufacturer’s warranty.
Can I go off grid with solar panels?

When you install solar panels on your property, you will still be connected to the grid. This allows you to draw from the utility grid when your system is not producing all of the power that you need, and send power back to the utility grid when you produce more than you use. It is possible to go off the grid with a solar energy system that includes battery storage. Batteries will cost significantly more and is unnecessary for the majority of homeowners who do not live off grid.
How long will my solar power system last?

In general, solar panels are exceptionally durable and are capable of withstanding snow, wind, and hail. Various components of your solar power system may require replacement in 25 years, however, your system is expected to generate electricity for many years after the warranty expires.

The size of your solar energy system will depend on how much electricity you use monthly, as well as the weather conditions where you live. This is where our engineering comes into play with a custom design and report for your specific needs.
